    Respiratory Therapist – Pediatrics (NICU/PICU Float)

     

    Contract Length: 13 weeks

     

    Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

     

    Hours per Week: 36

     

    Start Date: As soon as possible

     

    Pay Rate: $2256/ week (36 hours)

     

    Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

    Job Summary

    UNC Main Campusis seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our Pediatrics Department ,floating between NICU and PICU . This is a travel assignment requiringflexibility and adaptability to varying weekly schedules.

    Requirements

    + Experience:

    + Must have experience in NICU (Level III or IV) with NRP certification OR PICU (Level I) with PALS certification .

    + Experience with HFOV and nitric oxide required.

    + Willing to train on HFJV and regular vents (Drager/Servo).

    + Certifications:

    + RT License

    + NRP

    + PALS

    + Other:

    + EPIC proficiency required

    + ECMO experience not required

    + Travel experience and Trauma I experience preferred but not mandatory
