Outreach Housing Case Manager – Emergency Shelter (Part-Time)

Schedule:
+ Monday & Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
+ Wednesday & Thursday: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Duration: 13-week contract to start, with strong potential for extension
Pay Rate: $21–$23/hour (based on experience)
Position Overview
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a respected non-profit organization in Haverhill, MA to hire a part-time Outreach Housing Case Manager . This is a meaningful opportunity to support individuals experiencing homelessness by helping them secure stable housing and access essential services.
The organization is committed to training and supporting the right candidate to grow into the role.
Key Responsibilities
+ Assist individuals experiencing homelessness in securing stable housing and accessing community resources.
+ Provide ongoing stabilization support, including landlord/tenant mediation.
+ Conduct interviews and assessments for shelter guests after five days of stay.
+ Develop individualized case plans and monitor progress through weekly meetings.
+ Facilitate referrals and applications to housing programs, service providers, and public benefits.
+ Maintain accurate progress notes and monthly stabilization reports.
+ Build and maintain relationships with housing agencies, landlords, and community partners.
Qualifications
+ Experience in human services or customer service preferred.
+ Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
+ Valid driver’s license required.
+ Must pass CORI and driving record checks.
+ Individuals with lived experience of housing insecurity or homelessness are strongly encouraged to apply.
+ COVID-19 vaccination required.
+ Ability to walk stairs and occasionally lift/move up to 30 lbs.
