Contract: 13-week assignment (Temp-to-Perm opportunity)
Hours: 36 hours/week
Pay:
+ Local: $32.00/hr
+ Travel: Taxable $17.13/hr + Stipends ($400 housing / $200 meals)
Total Weekly Gross: Approx. $1,217

About the Facility
We are opening a 23-hour Evaluation & Treatment (E&T) Center on 2/2/26. This Psych ER provides short-term stabilization for patients in crisis. Staff will orient the week prior (starting 1/26/26). This is a fast-paced environment with evolving policies and procedures—ideal for professionals who thrive on adaptability and teamwork.
Shift Options
+ Noc: 10:00 PM – 10:30 AM
+ Day: 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM
Required Certification
+ WA MA-C (Medical Assistant – Certified)
+ BLS
+ CPI preferred
Key Responsibilities
+ Administer medications, injections, and treatments per provider orders within licensed scope
+ Perform CLIA-waived lab tests, order labs/imaging, and communicate results
+ Assist with wound care, blood draws, and patient transfers
+ Support supervised medication pass with RNs
+ Provide patient education and medication refills per protocol
+ Document accurately in Credible EMR
+ Participate in care coordination, quality assurance, and infection control compliance
Minimum Skill Set
+ Proficient in blood draws
+ Experience with wound care
+ Familiarity with med pass under RN supervision
+ Background in substance abuse/detox patient care
+ Strong teamwork, adaptability, and leadership qualities
Ideal Candidate
Experience working with law enforcement and opening new units is a plus. Candidates should expect initial challenges as the site launches and be prepared for a dynamic, evolving environment.
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for performing duties under the direction of a physician to assist in the examination and treatment of patients.
Minimum Requirements:
+ High School diploma or its equivalent
+ Good telephone communication skills
+ Knowledge of medical terminology
+ Knowledge of medical procedures
+ Knowledge of clerical functions
+ Current CPR card (if applicable)
+ Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)
+ Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
+ Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred
+ Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.
+ Relevant certification/ license if applicable.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
