Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking School Nurses (RN) for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year in Chula Vista, CA.

Position Details:

Pay: $40-45/hour depending on experience

Start Date: January 2026

Hours Per Week: 30-35 hours

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Length: 2025-2026 School Year

Requirements: Must have CA RN license and aCPR/BLS certificate; at least 1 year of nursing experience required, in-school/pediatricexperience preferred

Additional Details: Per Diem, 1:1, and Full Timehealth office positions available. Must be comfortable commuting to differentschools in the Chula Vista Elementary School District.

The School Registered Nurse oversees the application of thenursing process and the delivery of student care in a school setting. TheSchool RN supports the physical, mental and emotional well-being of studentswithin the school setting. The School RN plays an essential role in promotingthe health and safety, responding to medical emergencies, managing chronicconditions and serving as a liaison between families, school staff andhealthcare providers. The School RN provides services in accordance with Amergis’philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state ofemployment

+ Bachelor's Degree, preferred

+ School Nurse Certification as required by state or contract

+ One year of school nursing, public health or pediatricexperience, preferred

+ Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
