FP&A Analyst III

13715BRJob Description:This onsite position is a senior analyst role working at our Granite City Works in Granite City, IL. This position will report to the Director of FP&A at Granite City Works and be the business partner for the iron making division. This position will drive impact by analyzing financial data, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and providing financial insights that support strategic decision making. This is a highly visible and challenging position supporting the Granite City Works leadership team.
Responsibilities
+ Drive accountability and value-creating action through robust variance analysis, leveraging deep understanding of the manufacturing process and business drivers
+ Facilitate business partnering, engagement, and communication between Operations and other business supports groups to enhance operational and financial results
+ Support the annual operating plan, X+Y forecasts, monthly updates, and financial close process
+ Develop business cases and financial support for capital appropriations and investments
+ Develop analysis and presentations to support plant and/or executive leadership including proactive and insightful analysis and commentary on results
+ Drive continuous improvement efforts by developing process improvements and assisting with operations projects that result in efficiencies and improved effectiveness
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
+ 5+ years of experience in FP&A or other data/analysis field preferred
+ Well-developed financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
+ Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
+ Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
+ Experience with Oracle ERP, OneStream, Power BI, or Python is a plus
+ Strong attention to detail, problem solving abilities, and result driven action-oriented mindset
+ Ability to collaborate and work independently in a fast-paced environment
+ Experience in manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus
+ FPAC certification is preferred
Salary Range: $86,598 - $104,776/yr. This base salary range is a good faith estimate. Based on candidate skills/experience the final offer may be lower/higher.
