Job Description
The Principal Data Center Facilities Development Manager serves as a senior leader responsible for the planning, design, development, and commissioning of state-of-the-art data center facilities. This role oversees complex projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory standards, and global best practices in safety, security, and sustainability.
Responsibilities
As the Principal Data Center Facilities Development Manager, you will lead the end-to-end development of new data center facilities, from site selection through design, construction, commissioning, and project closeout. You will manage multidisciplinary project teams—including internal staff, external consultants, and contractors—while developing project scopes, budgets, timelines, and quality standards. A core aspect of this role involves monitoring performance to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget, all while maintaining high standards for quality and compliance. You’ll coordinate closely with cross-functional partners such as IT infrastructure, security, compliance, legal, and real estate teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. Ensuring data center facilities comply with applicable codes, regulations, industry standards, and corporate policies—particularly in safety, environmental impact, and data security—is essential. You will also drive the integration of energy-efficient and sustainable practices into facility design and operations. Additionally, you will develop and maintain risk management and contingency strategies, oversee vendor management and contract negotiations, and manage procurement for facility-related services and equipment. Mentoring junior team members and providing project updates, detailed reports, and executive presentations are also key aspects of this senior leadership role.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
