Job Description
The Global Physical Security (GPS) System Team manages physical security technology across the OCI Data Center portfolio. Oracle is seeking a highly experienced and multi-talented member of the physical security systems support team.
The Principal Security Systems Engineer, dedicated to the Abilene, TX Data Center, is responsible for all aspects of Systems Support, Access Control / CCTV deployment – including support to SOC, Biometric, WIDS, FiberSense and Key Management deployments.
Working closely with Project Management, Service, and Operational Teams, ensuring all systems are delivered and maintained, providing optimal performance.

Responsibilities
Provides management and oversight, ensuring that Oracle’s Security Systems are maintained and supported consistently across the globe. These initiatives include, but are not limited to:
+ Ensures the technical aspects of the Abilene Data Center project delivery are completed: Systems Programming, system configuration, commissioning, GSOC / LAC handover; works closely with the Project Management Team, VARs, and other key stakeholders.
+ Acts as a subject matter expert within the project lifecycle, assisting the Project Management and Operational teams as required.
+ Assists the Data Center Security Systems Director, undertaking site design walks and constant installation reviews, ensuring they meet expected standards.
+ Develops and maintains documented standards covering naming conventions, programming, and systems support.
+ Supports and implements annual upgrade programs to Lenel, Milestone and other supporting systems as resourcing demands.
+ Ensures that the Security Systems Team completes all vulnerability tasks in a timely manner.
+ Manages hardware swap-out and EOL replacement programs.
+ Has an active role in the overall management of all providers, participating in all QBR / ABR programs.
+ Works closely with Global Service Teams, providing 2nd / 3rd line support as required.
+ Performs additional functions as directed by the Data Center Security Systems Director as necessary to achieve assigned business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Minimum of 10 years’ experience in managing teams delivering Access Control and CCTV systems to the corporate industry, demonstrating a Data Center Security Systems focus and understanding.
+ This is an on-site role at Abilene, TX, with the ability for home working as agreed.
+ Individuals in this position must be self-motivated, requiring little or no direct supervision, and possessing strong leadership and mentoring skills.
+ Must possess a strong background in the design of Lenel Access Control & Milestone CCTV Systems. Wider experience of further Access Control, CCTV and other Security Systems is highly desirable.
+ Experience in Data Center Security systems installation and support would be advantageous.
+ Ability to communicate and articulate with a high level of proficiency in both the written and verbal formats at all levels, up to and including Corporate Executive leadership.
+ Highly proficient with all basic Microsoft computer software programs and communication techniques.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY, IMPACT OF DECISIONS, AND DEGREE OF SUPERVISION:
+ The Snr. Security Systems Engineers’ scope of responsibility will be of a site-specific nature.
+ The qualified candidate will report directly to the Data Center Security Systems Director, who is based in Abilene, TX.
+ Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
+ This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role requiring minimal direct supervision, carrying a high degree of responsibility and operational impact upon the business function.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
+ BS/BA Degree desirable
+ Lenel OnGuard / Milestone CCTV certifications are absolutely required.
+ Physically located locally to Abilene, TX, US.
+ Additional industry certifications are highly desirable, but not absolutely required.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $106,300 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
