We are hiring a **Principal Product Manager** **to lead the strategy and roadmap for the Audience Platform. This role will own one of Mailchimp’s most critical platform areas, responsible for making it simple and powerful for internal product teams and AI systems to use audience data safely and effectively.**
You’ll partner closely with engineering, data, design, and go-to-market teams to ensure Audience is a trusted foundation for everything from core marketing workflows to next-generation “Done-For-You” experiences.
Responsibilities

+ **Power key product experiences:** **Ensure Audience capabilities are deeply integrated into Mailchimp surfaces (e.g., Journeys, Campaigns, Messaging, Reporting, AI experiences) to improve time-to-value and customer outcomes.**
+ **Champion governance, consent, and trust:** **Work with legal, data, and engineering partners to ensure audience data, preferences, and consent are consistently respected across tools, workflows, and integrations.**
+ **Lead through influence across the organization:** **Align stakeholders across product, engineering, data, CX, and GTM on priorities, tradeoffs, and rollout plans for key Audience initiatives and platform investments.**
+ **Drive measurable impact:** **Define, track, and communicate platform success metrics such as adoption, reliability, integration speed, and the impact of Audience capabilities on customer engagement and business outcomes.**
+ **Mentor and uplevel product craft:** **Serve as a senior product leader within the broader organization, mentoring other PMs and helping to shape best practices for platform and internal-facing product work.**
Qualifications
+ **12+ years of product management experience** **, with substantial time owning** **platforms, APIs, or developer-facing products** **.**
+ Proven experience driving **platform transformations** **or building foundational services adopted by multiple product teams.**
+ Strong technical fluency in APIs, data models, and system design; you can partner deeply with senior engineers and architects.
