We’re looking for a seasoned attorney to join the NVIDIA team as Senior Counsel, Product Legal - Software. You will oversee the legal strategy and execution for cutting-edge software products. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure our innovations are developed, launched and operated in compliance with global legal and regulatory frameworks.
What you'll be doing:
+ Provide strategic legal counsel on all aspects of software product development, deployment, and lifecycle management, across multiple software categories and for both free and monetized releases.
+ Lead legal risk assessments and compliance strategies for NVIDIA software products, ensuring robust compliance with regulatory, cybersecurity, data privacy, and product liability regulations across global markets.
+ Draft, review, and negotiate complex technology, and partnership agreements with suppliers, customers, and technology partners adopting NVIDIA software.
+ Develop templates, playbooks and new product terms as our teams innovate.
What we need to see:
+ 8-12+ years relevant legal experience with at least 4+ years of in-house legal experience supporting software products, specifically in the AI technology sectors.
+ Demonstrated expertise in IP, cybersecurity, data privacy, product liability and regulatory compliance for software and AI-driven products.
+ Ability to negotiate and manage high-stakes, complex technology transaction agreements with vendors, customers and collaborators.
+ Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school; admitted to the bar and in good standing in the jurisdiction of hire, or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status).

+ Ability to navigate and break down complex legal issues into actionable advice covering a broad range of interdependent issues, balance risk with business need and ask tough questions.
+ Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and counsel senior stakeholders in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
+ Self-starter who excels at managing projects, prioritizing tasks and working both collaboratively with many different stakeholders and independently.
+ Ability to scale, synthesize and streamline licensing and go-to-market legal strategies.
+ Prior experience in IP litigation or judicial clerkships are welcome.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD.
