    Serenity Hospice is looking to add a methodical and investigative Hospice Census Analyst to our team. The Hospice Census Analyst is responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting on hospice census data to support decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The role involves collecting, interpreting, and presenting data on patient admissions, discharges, and overall census trends.

     

    The Hospice Census Analyst works closely with clinical, operational, and administrative teams to provide insights that help improve patient care and organizational efficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    + Gather and track all hospice census data.

    + Ensure all data is up to date and audited.

    + Collaborate with appropriate staff to resolve any discrepancies.

    + Analyze census data is up-to-date.

    + Recognize trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.

    + Generate daily, weekly & monthly reports.

    + Maintain spreadsheets and create new tracking sheets as needed.

    + Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

    + Serve as point of contact for census related inquiries.

    + Provide support to leadership on strategic planning initiatives.

    Requirements:

    + 2+ years of experience in data analysis, healthcare reporting or related roles.

    + Expert Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Applications.

    + Hospice Experience Preferred.

    + Knowledge of hospice regulations and healthcare compliance standards a plus.

    + Must have reliable transportation with liability insurance .

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
