Job Responsibilities:
This Medical Affairs Manager will be responsible for supporting one or several product development projects within the JJMT EP’s product portfolio while fostering strong, productive relationships with colleagues across the organization.
This Medical Affairs Manager will be based in Irvine, CA. We are searching for the best talent to support one or several product development projects within the JJMT EP’s product portfolio while fostering strong, productive relationships with colleagues across the organization.
You will be responsible for:
+ Executing the clinical strategy to support product characterization and design features as well as optimum clinical workflows for all products (catheters, 3D Mapping system and generator)
+ Developing and executing product and/or procedural protocols for execution for rebuttals and informing procedure settings
+ Providing support to Marketing, R&D, Quality Assurance/Risk Management/Product Safety and Commercial teams by providing scientific and technical insights to drive product development
+ Staying up to date with current literature to inform the research strategy for evidence generation for new and existing products in order to support regulatory approval/clearance, health technology assessment, customer access and post-marketing support
+ Providing scientific and test method expertise during product and study design development
Qualifications:
Education
+ BS with at least 8 years, MS with at least 6 years, PhD with at least 4 years of relevant experience with a degree in either :Biomedical, Computer Science, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, General Engineering, or Biological Sciences
Experience
+ An understanding of cardiac anatomy and medical devices dare required.
+ A minimum of 5 years in working in pre-clinical models is required, with chronic models is preferred.
+ Advanced technical writing skills is required with an emphasis on organizing data and presenting findings, with a demonstrated success in medical data generation, interpretation, and publications are highly preferred
+ Drive collaboration and maintain consistent, open lines of communication across the assigned responsibilities with the MA management as well as the support team (i.e. scientists, contractors, etc) and other internal and external partners
+ A proven working knowledge of catheter laboratory equipment and standard operating room procedures
+ Strong project management skills, with a demonstrable track record of success managing multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
+ Advance-level computer skills, and the ability to multitask without the direct oversight of manager required
+ Understand the dynamics of an EP lab, including, but not limited to physicians, nurses and technicians
+ Prioritize and appropriately respond to requests in a high-stress environment
+ Ability to communicate effectively and work with various teams.
+ A valid driver’s license issued in the United States
+ The ability to travel related to this role is required. Must be willing and able to travel up to 40% overnight locally or otherwise
+ Will be required to maintain advanced clinical knowledge of cardiac ablation and cardiac imaging, technical knowledge of EP technology, advancements, and the business landscape.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$117,000.00 - $201,250.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
