    Job Description:

    The Material Handler supports cable technicians and field operations by receiving, organizing, staging, delivering, and tracking materials, tools, and equipment. This role ensures technicians have the correct materials on time and maintains accurate inventory to keep projects running smoothly.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and quality.

    • Organize, label, and store cable, hardware, equipment, and related components.

    • Pull, stage, and prepare material orders for cable technicians and project crews.

    • Load, unload, and move materials manually or with warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, carts, etc.).

    • Track inventory usage, stock levels, and discrepancies; update internal systems as needed (Excel, SAP, or similar).

    • Deliver materials to job sites when necessary and support proper returns/restocking.

    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse/work area.

    • Follow all company safety rules and handle materials safely.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

    • Basic computer/data entry skills (Excel, Word, SAP, or similar).

    • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

    Nice to Have Skills

    • Familiarity with cable installation materials (fiber, coax, connectors, hardware).

    • Experience supporting field technicians or construction crews.

    • Previous warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience. Nice to Have Skills
