    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking an experienced Senior Laboratory Systems Analyst to lead the implementation, Epic integration, and long-term sustainment of the Haemonetics SafeTrace TX Blood Bank application. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in laboratory or Blood Bank information systems and hands-on experience configuring, fixing, and building backend solutions.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Experience with SafeTrace TX and Epic Beaker.

    • Familiarity with HL7 interfaces and middleware solutions like Data Innovations.

    • A solid understanding of Blood Bank workflows and regulatory compliance.

    • Previous experience as a Medical Technologist who now works on the technical side of Blood Bank systems.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Sciences, or related discipline OR equivalent work experience.

    • 3–5 years of experience supporting or implementing laboratory or Blood Bank information systems in a hospital setting.

    • Familiarity with HL7 interfaces, data integration, and middleware solutions such as Data Innovations.

    • Understanding of Blood Bank workflows, including product management, crossmatching, transfusion documentation, and regulatory compliance.

    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional clinical and IT teams.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    • Local to South Florida Tri-County area (Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach) or willing to relocate. Relocation will be compensated for. • Experience with Haemonetics SafeTrace TX (highly preferred).

    • Knowledge of Epic Beaker or prior Epic implementation experience.

    • Certification as an MT/MLS (ASCP) or equivalent.

    • Prior experience as a Medical Technologist who transitioned into backend system configuration, troubleshooting, and build.
