    Job Description

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee all accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, settlements, ERP transactions from warehouse/operations and financial reporting.

    • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

    • Manage cash flow planning and monitoring (we are a cash intensive business)

    • Coordinate and execute monthly close out process from start to finish

    • Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting workflows, and financial systems.

    • Lead and mentor accounting/administrative team members

    • Partner with leadership on financial strategy, KPIs, and scenario analysis.

    • Implement process improvements and automation tools.

    • Support and maintain strong relationships with financial partners and clients

    • Provide financial insights related to commodity pricing, material recovery rates, operational efficiency, and other key metrics for CEO

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field

    • CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification

    • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles.

    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

    • Proficient in QuickBooks

    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

    • Experience in cost accounting, manufacturing environment, warehouse-based operations, or other relevant industries

    • Advanced Excel skills
