Job Description
BAE Systems is looking for an on-site Maintenance Scheduler/Planner with prior experience in a maintenance organization. The Scheduler will have a primarily focus on providing schedules and plans with collaboration with operations to understand needs and contractual preventive maintenance items. Responsibilities include:
Developing and managing detailed maintenance schedules and work orders
+ Coordinating and scheduling all maintenance activities
+ Ensuring plans meet operational needs
+ Maintaining accurate records of maintenance performed, and variances to the schedules
+ Working with engineering and operations teams to plan and implement equipment modifications and upgrades
+ Procuring necessary maintenance supplies and equipment and tracking items
+ Participating in the development and implementation of maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices
+ Understand the types of maintenance jobs well enough to describe what needs to be accomplished, estimate labor hours, tools, and resources needed to complete different work orders.
+ Prepare preventative maintenance plans and schedules that are in sync with the organization s maintenance goals.
+ Act as the primary liaison person between maintenance and operations.
+ Coordinate planned downtimes to reduce mean time between failures and minimize interference with production schedules.
Maintenance Planners typically work in an indoor office setting but may need to spend time in the field conducting inspections and working with supervisors assessing work requests. In the event of emergencies, they may also be required to work outside normal business hours to ensure that maintenance work does not interfere with regular operations.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years maintenance execution experience, with or without planning & scheduling background.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Proficiency in using maintenance planning and scheduling software
+ Good knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
+ Familiarity with maintenance equipment and supplies procurement processes
+ Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
+ Strong problem-solving skills
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $60076 - $102130
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
