    Summary:

    As an Reality Labs (RL) Accountant, you won’t just crunch numbers—you’ll be a strategic partner in a deadline-focused, high-growth environment where your insights and expertise directly influence the success of cutting-edge products. You’ll collaborate with engineers, finance professionals, and business leaders to design and implement automated, AI-driven accounting solutions that set industry standards.

    Required Skills:

    Reality Labs Accountant Responsibilities:

    1. Manage global end-to-end accounting processes and controls with a particular focus on revenue and fulfillment accounting

    2. Partner with engineering and other cross-functional teams to implement industry-leading, automated accounting solutions (including AI integrations)

    3. Partner with Finance, Operations, and Business Development teams to understand emerging business practices and provide accounting support for new initiatives

    4. Own month-end close procedures, including subledger management, journal entry and reconciliation review, and other duties as necessary

    5. Provide well presented analytical insights that concisely tell the RL story through the preparation of quarterly and ad hoc reporting packages to management

    6. Fulfill internal and external audit requests

    Minimum Qualifications:

    7. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline or equivalent relevant experience

    8. 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance

    9. CPA or equivalent qualification

    10. Experience with U.S. GAAP and Internal Controls

    11. Experience in the Tech industry or similar high-growth/deadline-focused environment

    12. Proven experience to improve business processes and systems

    13. Highly collaborative temperament and proven communication skills

    14. Experience of consistently working under your own initiative with demonstrated attention to detail and possesses an understanding of the "big picture"

    15. Demonstrated experience operating with a high degree of autonomy

    16. Manufacturing, consumer electronics, cost or fulfillment accounting experience

    17. Public Accounting Experience

    18. Experience partnering with Operations and Financial Planning Partners

    19. Experience with Data Management, AI Solutioning or SQL

    20. Experience leveraging BPO resources effectively

    21. Experience with Oracle Financials and Hyperion

    Public Compensation:

    $91,000/year to $133,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
