Summary:
As part of Meta’s Infrastructure organization, compliance engineer will work on design for compliance and certification efforts to ensure Data Center NPI (New Product Introduction) HW meets all required compliance requirements throughout its lifecycle.In this role, you will be a key member of core team and execute compliance deliverables on complex state of the art Data Center HW including AI servers, liquid cooling and many other forward looking technologies.

Compliance Engineer - Infra NPI Hardware Responsibilities:
1. Develop EMC design and testing strategies to meet NPI schedule
2. Conduct thorough reviews of schematic, PCB and mechanical designs, by partnering with other EMC engineers in the team
3. Coordinate EMC testing at ODM, providing guidance to ensure successful completion of all required tests
4. Guide the Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) through EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) testing, overseeing the process to ensure all necessary tests are successfully completed
5. Leverage your technical expertise to debug and resolve EMC issues, ensuring compliance with standards and Meta internal requirements
6. Lead and collaborate with test engineers for EMC testing, at either Meta internal lab or at the 3rd party lab
7. Learn and execute EMC simulations as required, correlating results with measurement data to optimize HW design and ensure EMC performance
8. Contribute and work with third-party agencies and industry community
9. Collaborate with other compliance team members, and partake in maintaining EMC and safety lab accreditation programs (A2LA and UL DAP)
Minimum Qualifications:

10. BSEE with minimum 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
11. Experience with practicing and implementing EMC design principles and concepts
12. Expertise with performing EMC and safety testing
13. Thorough understanding of EMC standards, such as: FCC Part 15, ANSI C63.4, EN55032, EN55035, and IEC61000-4-X series

14. Experience with data center hardware (server and networking rack systems)
15. Experience with AI HW racks/servers and familiarity with liquid cooling hardware
16. Familiar with international EMC certification processes is a plus
17. Experience operating with innovation and initiative minimal guidance in environments that have aspirational targets or ambiguous circumstances
Public Compensation:
$111,000/year to $164,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
