Summary:

Meta is seeking a full-time Regional Investigator to join our Global Security Threat Management Team. This broad role demands practical experience of operational, strategic, and experience in communicating effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, collaborators and clients, at different levels. The Regional Investigator will resolve instances of internal and external, local, regional and/or global investigations, including but not limited to insider threat, threats against people, threat against the company, missing persons, property crimes, fraud, and counterfeiting.

Required Skills:

Threat Management Investigator Responsibilities:

1. You will provide investigative expertise to support a variety of cross-functional internal Meta clients – headquarters and regional offices – within the Meta Company for threat assessment and investigations purposes with the goal of supporting the safety and security of our people, assets, and reputation

2. The global presence of Meta and the nature of Global Security operations require the Threat Management Team to be available 24/7 to manage relationships, collect and analyse relevant information, and communicate to executives and stakeholders as needed regarding risks as they develop

3. You will work as part of a global team, be responsible for overseeing the development, execution and quality control of Threat Management projects, and manage strategic investigations operations as directed

4. You will work cross-functionally and partner closely with other Global Security and Meta internal teams

5. 8+ years of work experience in investigative disciplines

6. Practical experience in problem-solving skills

7. Experience working with highly confidential information

8. Experience completing multiple tasks simultaneously and functioning with minimal supervision

9. Experience working in both individual and team environments

10. Proven experience in communication, with the experience to engage effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders

11. Proven experience in problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and perform proficiently under high-pressure situations

12. Proven experience working with high-profile individuals or in high-risk environments

13. Skilled in managing sensitive high-impact threat cases across Business settings

14. Proven experience to think quickly and perform problem-solving tasks within complex conditions

15. Proven experience to work collaboratively, with previous experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects

16. High degree of knowledge of best-in-class applicable software/tools (e.g. social media monitoring and investigations, case management software, etc.), investigative strategies, and research methods to address threats to people and places

17. Proven experience to react to changes in a time critical environment to meet security needs and quickly evaluate situations

18. Background working in law enforcement, Military or Corporate investigations

Public Compensation:

$111,000/year to $163,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
