    What You'll Do

     

    + Provide on-site technical service and system support at customer facilities across the Boston area.

    + Monitor and optimize water treatment programs, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient system operation.

    + Perform equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of chemical feed, filtration, and RO systems.

    + Manage chemical inventory and feed systems; track product usage and prepare detailed service reports.

    + Partner closely with leadership to share technical findings, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure exceptional customer experiences.

    + Stay current with Apex's industry-leading training and professional development programs.

    + Represent Apex with professionalism, reliability, and a safety-first mindset.

     

    What We're Looking For

     

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.

    + Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.

    + Proven field experience in industrial water treatment or related process industries.

    + Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain a professional image on-site.

    + Comfortable with local travel (daily) and occasional overnight trips (2-4 nights per month).

    + Must hold a valid driver's license, be able to lift 50 lbs., and pass a respirator fit test.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.

    + Hands-on experience with RO systems, softeners, filtration, disinfection, or chemical dosing.

    + Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory guidelines for water treatment systems.

    + Certifications or advanced training in water treatment or industrial safety are a plus.
