Summary:
Meta’s data centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently operates to deliver our innovative products. The Data Center Business Operations team is seeking a workforce development leader who will enhance business results and accelerate productivity by designing, delivering, and continuously improving an onboarding program for our rapidly growing data center workforce. This role will directly support our team’s mission to enable workforce growth and performance through evidence-based strategies, effective operations, and business insights.
Required Skills:
Learning and Development Manager (Data Centers) Responsibilities:
1. Create and maintain scalable onboarding solutions for new employees, tailored to the specific needs of the Data Center organization
2. Recruit, train, and manage a team of contingent workers, overseeing the design, facilitation, and coordination of onboarding at scale
3. Collect, analyze, and report on data and success metrics to assess needs and continuously improve learning materials and experiences
4. Collaborate with Data Center teams and other internal partners across Meta to ensure materials, experiences, and approaches are aligned so all new employees have a consistently effective onboarding
5. Ensure Data Center workforce development solutions follow evidence-based approaches, integrate with Meta learning guidelines and experiences, enhance Data Center workforce strategies, and leverage shared resources
6. Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding-related inquiries and communicate outcomes, insights, and recommendations to leadership
Minimum Qualifications:

7. 10+ years of professional experience in onboarding, learning & development, or workforce program management, with an analytical and strategic orientation
8. 5+ years of experience leading end-to-end design and implementation of onboarding or workforce development programs in a rapidly scaling, cross-functional environment
9. 3+ years of experience with data analysis, program evaluation, and measurement
10. Advanced communication, organization, and project management skills, with the skills to manage multiple projects and stakeholders

11. MS in Organizational Behavior, Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
12. Experience developing workforce strategies and working with people data (e.g., headcount, attrition, recruiting metrics, onboarding analytics) and systems (e.g., Workday, Salesforce, LMS)
13. Experience with workforce development for data centers or large scale technical infrastructure
14. Experience managing contingent or contract teams to deliver large-scale programs
Public Compensation:
$150,000/year to $213,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
