    The UHealth System at the University of Miami has an exciting opportunity for a part time Research Laboratory Technician in the Radiation Oncology Department.

     

    CORE JOB SUMMARYThe Research Laboratory Technician aids scientists in their experiments by monitoring and recording their findings. Moreover, the Research Laboratory Technician ensures laboratory compliance with applicable safety regulations.CORE JOB FUNCTIONS1. Cleans, sanitizes, maintains, and operates laboratory equipment.2. Keeps records of research data and assists in analyzing it.3. Maintains inventory of laboratory equipment and supplies and places orders in a timely fashion.4. Proofreads and assists in the writing of manuscripts, grant proposals, and lab protocols.5. Prepares reports of experiment results.6. Performs research by completing simple experiments or steps in more complicated studies.7.
