Lead Production Coordinator-
About Your Role:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Oversees shift operations through scheduling and completing production of projects assigned. Position assists the card production operations to be in line with standard operating procedures, related regulations, and established policy.
What You'll Do:
1. Reads and understands job orders and interprets job specifications.
2. Checks production rates for proper productivity.
3. Works in team management environment.
4. Keeps alert to problems that cause delays and errors, and initiates corrective action in a timely manner.
5. Monitors and evaluates the work flow throughout the card production facility and communicates with Account Management the status of their jobs.
6. Verifies that materials needed for scheduled production projects are available.
7. Maintains working knowledge of postal regulations and rates.
8. Assists in the design of new production techniques.
9. Initiates and develops new methods of operating, improves and revises operations to coincide with requirements.
10. Helps cover supervisory absences on off shifts and during peak hours.
11. Other duties as assigned
Experience** **you’ll** **need to have:
2+ years experience in a fast-packed production environment or equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
1. High School required or some college experience, preferred
2. 3-5 years’ experience in mail/card production related operations,
3. Ability to develop and follow quality systems and controls.
4. Experience with Card Production a major plus.
5. Experience managing machine inserters
6. Excellent knowledge of all MS Office products, written communications, spreadsheets
How** **you’ll** **work:
+ You will work an assigned shift of 10:00pm-6:30am (Overnight Shift.
+ This role requires flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
+ This role requires frequent moving and/or carrying of materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
+ This role requires the ability to stand for a majority of the shift; safely lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds; lift above your shoulders; and climb, squat, kneel, twist, push, and bend frequently during each shift.
