Summary:
+ The Penn Medicine Center for Health Care Transformation and Innovation (CHTI) facilitates the rapid, disciplined development, testing, and implementation of new strategies to reimagine health care delivery, improve patient and clinician experience, outcomes, and value. The Center provides an exciting and fast-paced environment for motivated, entrepreneurial individuals who want to contribute to meaningful change in health care. The Transformation Associate supports the design, testing, and implementation of care model transformation and tech-enabled projects across Penn Medicine. Working closely with project leads, clinicians, operations leaders, and patients, the Associate helps execute projects through the entire innovation lifecycle and at scale — from problem identification and discovery through rapid testing, evaluation, and expansion. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills, as well as curiosity and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
+ Support the design, planning, and execution of transformation projects across Penn Medicine.
+ Coordinate project logistics, timelines, and documentation to ensure smooth execution and follow-through.
+ Assist in the design and execution of small-scale experiments or pilots to test new approaches.
+ Prepare materials for stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations, ensuring clarity and accuracy
+ Track project progress, anticipate next steps, and help identify opportunities for improvement.
+ Manage competing priorities effectively and meet established deadlines.
+ Schedule and coordinate team meetings; prepare agendas and maintain minutes in a manner conducive to team success.
+ Conduct background research, literature reviews, and data gathering to inform project design.
+ Assist with data collection, cleaning, and organization from both qualitative and quantitative sources.
+ Support analysis and interpretation of data to assess outcomes and generate actionable insights.
+ Contribute to written summaries, dashboards, and presentations that communicate findings clearly and persuasively.
+ Maintain data accuracy and confidentiality in all project-related work.
+ Facilitate timely, professional communication among project teams, clinicians, operations leaders, and other stakeholders.
+ Respond to inquiries promptly and courteously, generally within one business day.
+ Develop clear and engaging written materials (project summaries, slide decks, reports) to share progress and learnings.
+ Represent the Center professionally in meetings and presentations, modeling Penn Medicine’s standards of excellence, integrity, and collaboration.
+ Build productive working relationships that promote understanding and engagement among diverse partners.
+ Maintain organized project documentation, templates, and shared resources to ensure accessibility and continuity.
+ Support internal meetings, workshops, and events that strengthen team collaboration and learning.
+ Contribute to continuous improvement of team tools, workflows, and processes.
+ Demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and accountability to team commitments and schedules.
+ Uphold a positive, “can-do” approach to problem-solving and service.

+ Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization.
Education or Equivalent Experience:
+ Bachelor's degree. (Required)
+ 3+ years of professional or equivalent experience, demonstrating the ability to complete complex and thoughtful work. (Required)
+ Background in Health Care a plus, whether in health system or industry. (Preferred)
