Summary:
+ The Work Control Coordinator supports the Engineering Department and Security Services. Areas of support include Clerical duties such as creating various memos & correspondence as well as submitting reports, forms, specifications, contracts, construction documents, and safety correspondence and assuming the duties of the Administrative Coordinator as needed.In addition, this position oversees the maintenance management system SOMAX for Pennsylvania Hospital, working with management and Engineering staff to ensure the SOMAX is up to date and accurate for Preventive Maintenance and Repair Work Orders.
Responsibilities:
+ Receives and generates work requests utilizing electronic systems, dispatches jobs, and distributes to appropriate shops and works directly with vendor to troubleshoot system as needed.
+ Returns phone calls and emails promptly.
+ Opens, Sorts, and distributes mail.
+ Records all expenditures spent on capital projects and compile data necessary to complete various monthly reports utilizing.
+ Contact outside contractors for service as required.
+ Maintains all departmental, project, construction, safety and general correspondence files.
+ Compiles data necessary to complete various monthly reports utilizing various software packages.
+ Manage department calendar.
+ Creates and distributes statistical reports from SOMAX monthly and meets with the Team Leaders to review
+ Open work orders and ensure their timely completion and to identify all costs related to the job
Education or Equivalent Experience:
+ H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
+ 2+ years Working with MS Excel, Word, and mobile devices required.
+ Associate's Degree in Information Technology preferred.
+ 2+ years Experience working with a Physical Plant and SOMAX or other work order systems preferred.
