    Professional Security Officer Needed for Biomanufacturing Facility

     

    We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Security Officer to support operations at a biomanufacturing facility . This is a high-visibility, high-responsibility position that requires a polished professional presence, strong customer service skills, and the ability to follow strict security and safety protocols.

     

    As the first point of contact for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors, you will play a critical role in protecting personnel, property, and sensitive operations. Reliability, discretion, and professionalism are essential for success in this role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Greet and assist employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner

    + Monitor and control access to the facility, including visitor check-in and badge verification

    + Enforce site security policies, safety rules, and access restrictions

    + Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols of the facility

    + Monitor security systems, including CCTV and access control systems

    + Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents, alarms, or emergency situations

    + Maintain accurate documentation using reporting software for patrols, incidents, and daily activity reports

    + Support compliance with site confidentiality, safety, and operational standards

    Requirements:

    + Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional security role

    + MUST live within 20 miles of site – 77845

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Valid driver’s license

    + Reliable transportation to and from work

    + Strong communication and customer service skills

    + Professional appearance and demeanor

    + + NO neck, face, or below-the-wrist tattoos

    + Ability to exercise sound judgment and follow detailed procedures

    + Comfortable working in a regulated, controlled environment

    Preferred Experience:

    + Previous experience in security, military, law enforcement, healthcare, laboratory, manufacturing, or regulated facilities is a plus (but not required)
