Job Summary:
This position acts as the assistant to the Ski Patrol Leadership Team, working in a fast-paced office environment and assisting with daily administrative duties as they pertain to Patrol and Mountain Operations. This support consists of scheduling, payroll, budget management,procurment, compliance tracking, onboarding support, and other administration and program development work for a team of 70 ski patrollers and 25 boot packers. This position may also be asked to run patrol dispatch at times and answer phone calls after appropriate training. The ideal candidate would be available in the fall and winter with the potential for spring and/or summer work for the right candidate.
Job Specifications:
+ Starting Wage: $24.00/hr - $28.00hr

Job Responsibilities:
+ Provide executive level support as required for the Sr Manager of Patrol and other patrol leaders
+ Process or assist with accurate and timely payroll for patrol and boot packing which includes correcting exceptions, inputting time and labor, distribute timecard reports, and approving payroll
+ Assist Patrol and Snow Safety with project development, organization, data collection and analasys.
+ Function in the role of patrol dispatch or dispatch support as needed, after appropriate training
+ Track training, certifications, and compliance for the Patrol team.
+ Manage operations contracts, including insurance, licenses, and document preparation
+ Partner with Human Resources for support and input on interviewing, hiring, onboarding and off-boarding employees, trainings,etc.
+ Assist with budget development, project planning and execution, and forecasting and financial management for Patrol
+ Assist with purchasing, receiving and processing invoices via Coupa and other systems for Patrol and other Mountain Ops Departments
+ Act as liaison for departments, employees, and vendors in a consistent and professional manner
+ Frequent exposure to sensitive information where maintaining confidentiality is essential
+ Organize weekly Patrol Leadership meetings and capture meeting minutes, in addition to organizing other Operations meetings as requested
+ Organize weekly communication with the patrol team reflecting critical updates and current operations.
+ Assist leadership with patrol schedule to include patrol Duty Officer, Supervisors, Dispatch, Snow Safety, Snowmobile Operator,special teams coverage, etc.
+ Act as a member of the Patrol and Mountain Operations teams by communicating deadlines, announcements, and sharing pertinent information to the group
+ Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work under tight deadlines and changing priorities with accuracy, dependability and a positive attitude
+ General office and administrative duties - filing, mail distribution, answer emails and phone in professional, courteous manner
Job Requirements:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Strong in MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, One Note
+ Ability and desire to learn and innovate with new computer or organizational systems
+ Fluent in all aspects of English
+ Must be highly organized and able to communicate effectively with management,employees, guests and vendors. Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines,organizational skills, communication skills, ability to work within a team and independently without constant supervision
Preferred Skills:
+ Crested Butte Mountain and/or Vail Resorts Experience
+ Intermediate or Expert ski/snowboard ability, ability to learn the mountain and terrain at Crested Buttet
The expected pay range is $24.00/hr - $28.00hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
