Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking an **experienced and dynamic** CDL Route Driver to join our **Transportation and Logistics** team.
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for **operating a commercial vehicle (Class A or B)** safely on assigned routes, **delivering exceptional, frontline customer service** , and **maintaining the secure chain-of-custody** required for handling our customers' vital information and assets.
What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
+ **Lead** daily logistics operations by safely and efficiently operating a commercial vehicle, completing pre- and post-trip inspections, and driving assigned routes to ensure timely customer service and deliveries.
+ **Develop** a positive customer experience by engaging professionally with clients, accurately executing service requests, and preparing precise paperwork and electronic records for all pickups and deliveries.
+ **Ensure** comprehensive compliance by strictly adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, safety standards, and Iron Mountain’s stringent security and chain-of-custody protocols.
What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
+ A **valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)** and a clean driving record.
+ A minimum age of **21** and the proven ability to pass a pre-employment **substance abuse screening, background check, and DOT physical** .
+ Strong knowledge of **safe, efficient driving skills** and routine vehicle maintenance procedures.
+ Proven ability in **safely handling significant physical demands** , including frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of containers or materials weighing up to 70 pounds.
