Job Summary:

The CAD Drafter is primarily responsible for drafting and blueprint creation, technical order entry, document control, computer system/database management and some methods/routing documentation maintenance.

Essential Functions:

+ Create working drawings for all stages of the component build process

+ Create working drawings from the measurement of solid customer samples

+ Maintain daily part revisions throughout the entire drawing and database system

+ Assist in the creation, revision and modification of part routings

+ Control all drawings within document control system and protocols

+ Assist in the continuous updating and upgrading of MRP system

+ Other engineering and administrative duties and projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:

+ At least an Associate’s Degree in STEM-related discipline or equivalent work experience

+ 2-4 years of experience with Solidworks software or similar

+ Proficiency with blueprint drawing using Solidworks or equivalent

+ Familiarity with blueprint reading, drawing and tolerancing disciplines

+ Familiarity with 3D Viewing, imaging, and drawing of complex geometries

+ Proficient in basic math including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

+ Basic knowledge or relational databases

+ Strong communication and writing skills

+ Ability to work with other team members at all corporate levels

+ Ability to work independently in a self-motivated fashion

+ Strong organizational skills with high functioning work prioritization and time management

+ Ability to multitask and handle stressful work deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 4+ Years drafting experience

+ Hands-on experience with manufacturing

+ Hands-on experience with measurement systems

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $59,700-$89,500, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonus plan.
