    Requirements / Qualifications

     

    University Intern Credentials, Provisional Internship, Short-Term Staff Permit may be considered Basic Functions: Under the supervision of the school principal, the SDC Preschool Teacher provides direct instruction and support services as specified in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) for the special education pupils identified. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Education: • Valid Education Specialist Teaching Credential with an authorization in Early Childhood Special Education; • EL authorization or equivalent is required. • Master's Degree in Education or related field is preferred; Experience: • Recent successful experience working with children with special needs and willingness to work with staff members and management in a collaborative manner. • 5 years previous public school teaching experience accepted for placement on the Teacher's Salary Schedule Documents Required:

     

    + Copy of Transcript (Bachelor's, Master's & Post-Baccalaureate Transcripts with Confer Date)

    + Credential Copy (Special Education Credential - Early Childhood or Education Specialist Bridge - Early Childhood Special Education)
