Job Description:
The Claims Solution Specialist plays a crucial role in the professional revenue cycle by performing final validation and resolving professional claims issues that do not require coding expertise. Key responsibilities include manual charge entry and collaborating with Claims Solution Specialist-Coders to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the professional claims process through continuous improvement efforts.
Our Claims Solution Specialists leverage their understanding of the professional revenue cycle to perform final validation and resolution of professional claims issues not requiring coding expertise. They perform manual charge entry and participate with Claims Solution Specialist-Coders in the continuous improvement efforts focused on increasing the efficiency and accuracy of the professional claims process.
Essential Functions
+ Address basic to intermediate claims issues that do not require coding certification.
+ Add, remove, and/or change CPT, HCPCS, and/or ICD codes as per standing orders and standard operating procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
+ Medical billing experience

+ Professional coding (CPT, ICD, HCPCS) experience

+ Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
+ Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
+ Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate supplies and equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$18.54 - $28.24
