Description
OVERVIEW
Cadrex is searching for a Supply Chain Manager who is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end supply chain activities within a manufacturing environment. This role oversees procurement, inventory control, production planning, logistics, and supplier management to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and finished goods. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a proven ability to optimize supply chain performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support customer satisfaction
+ Manage procurement of raw materials, components, and services to ensure quality and timely availability
+ Oversee inventory management, including inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and optimization of inventory levels
+ Lead production planning and scheduling activities to meet customer demand and minimize disruptions
+ Monitor supplier performance, build strong supplier relationships, and drive supplier development initiatives
+ Coordinate logistics and distribution to ensure efficient flow of materials and products
+ Analyze supply chain metrics and implement improvements based on data-driven insights
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Production, Quality, Engineering, and Finance
+ Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards
+ Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations in a manufacturing environment preferred
+ Proven leadership and team management experience
+ Strong understanding of procurement, MRP/ERP systems, logistics, and inventory management
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
+ Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain software tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
+ APICS, CSCP, or related supply chain certification preferred
EDUCATION
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field required

WORK ENVIRONMENT
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
