Overview

Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client.

The Lead Network Engineer will serve as the contractor's Subject Matter Expert (SME) in network engineering design, testing, deployment, and operational support. This role will provide expert guidance and technical assistance to team members and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

+ Act as the primary subject matter expert in the design, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the client’s network environments, including WAN, LAN, wireless, DNS, cloud, and enterprise-grade tools.

+ Provide expert technical assistance to team members and Government with high-level system and networking requests and solution identification.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Network Engineering and Design.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems.

+ In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, the Lead Network Engineer should have an additional ten (10) years of experience in IT network engineering for a total of fifteen (15) years of experience.

+ Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.

+ Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills:

+ Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner.

+ Must be extremely detail-oriented and well organized.

+ Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.

+ Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.

+ Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

+ Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

+ Ability to lead and manage a team of diverse individuals.

+ Willing to work non-traditional schedules/shifts to support team.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization.

Pay Range

USD $145,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
