Delta Vacations, a Delta Air Lines company, is seeking a Jr. Copywriter to develop, write and edit engaging and persuasive written content that enhances our brand presence across all channels. The ideal candidate has technical writing and editing skills and works well in team environments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Write engaging, inspirational, informational and/or persuasive content for Delta Vacations consumer and B2B websites, email, print, video, digital and social media channels.
+ Thorough understanding of Delta Vacations brand guide using appropriate brand voice and style to address consumer-facing, B2B, and internal audiences.
+ Understand Delta Vacations’ products and partner brands. Occasionally research vacation destinations and partner brands to help develop content.
+ Understanding of Delta Air Lines master brand style and tone.
+ Work collaboratively with designers and video team to bring concepts to life.
+ Collaborate with the Brand, Product, Partnership Marketing and Marketing Project Managers to understand business needs to write compelling materials.
+ Ensure content is aligned with target audience/customer profile and stages of the customers’ journey.
+ Proofread and fact-check required when needed, ensuring compliance with Delta Vacations content standards, departmental procedures, and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
+ Assist with proofing writing team documents and creative
+ Manage multiple projects with short deadlines and negotiate new copy due dates with project managers if appropriate.
+ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, which may include cross-utilization within the department or with other departments.

SALARY
$44,304 – $60,573 annually
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Delta Vacations Corporate Headquarters, Atlanta, Georgia
POSITION TYPE/STANDARD SCHEDULE
Full-Time, Monday through Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. A combination of remote and office reporting is in practice. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
TRAVEL
Occasional domestic and/or international travel needed to fulfill assigned responsibilities.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Candidates for this position may have a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or equivalent work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ 1+ years of writing experience in a corporate or agency environment required
+ 1+ year experience writing for marketing/communications
+ Must demonstrate strong English language writing, grammar and proofreading skills
+ Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
+ Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data
+ Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
