Assistant Program Manager - Supportive Employment
Bring your Heart to Coarc
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (½ hour unpaid lunch; some flexibility available)
Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour
We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Program Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our Supportive Employment program serving people with developmental disabilities. In partnership with the Program Manager, the Assistant Program Manager ensures the delivery of high-quality services, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and person-centered support. This role plays a vital part in creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
+ Support the emotional, physical, and personal well-being of people receiving services.
+ Promote autonomy, self-advocacy, and community inclusion through person-centered planning.
+ Assist in the development, implementation, and oversight of service plans and Staff Action Plans (SAPs).
+ Supervise, mentor, and support direct care staff; participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
+ Respond to behavioral, medical, or emotional crises and provide on-the-spot guidance to staff.
+ Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations and agency policies, including incident reporting (Part 624).
+ Maintain accurate documentation for billing, service delivery, and daily program operations.
+ Manage program finances including petty cash, individual funds, and budget adherence.
+ Ensure a safe and healthy physical environment; oversee safety drills, maintenance, and vehicle use.
+ Conduct regular staff meetings to share updates, address concerns, and build team cohesion.
Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
+ 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally in developmental disabilities or human services.
+ Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
+ Working knowledge of OPWDD regulations preferred.
+ Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate agency vehicles.
