As a **Security Officer - Retail Guest Liaison** in **Oak Brook, IL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a premier retail location, you will play a key role in greeting guests, monitoring access, and providing a welcoming presence. You will help to deter security-related incidents through your visibility and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

+ Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Assist with visitor management, including logging guests, issuing visitor badges, and communicating with staff as needed.

+ Support loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting any unusual activity or security-related concerns.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding any incidents or security-related matters.

+ Follow emergency response protocols and assist during emergency situations as directed by site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
