What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with initial management and reporting as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access or behavior.

+ Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or exit, and report irregularities according to site protocols.

+ Document observations and incidents in detailed reports, maintaining clear communication with Allied Universal and client site management.

+ Assist with the enforcement of site rules and regulations specific to chemical and petrochemical environments, maintaining awareness of potential hazards related to the location.

+ Participate in site-specific training and emergency response drills as required for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
