    Our client, a leading organization in the technology and security sector, is seeking a Risk and Compliance Analyst to join their team. As a Risk and Compliance Analyst, you will be part of the IT Security and Risk Management department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to compliance and risk mitigation, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Risk and Compliance Analyst

    **Location:** Oceanside, California

    **Pay Range:** up to $53.00 per hour

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Review software, tools, and vendor agreements for risk and compliance considerations

    + Assess vendors and software against security and policy requirements

    + Prepare and maintain documentation, including risk assessments, summaries, and compliance checklists

    + Ensure adherence to security, regulatory, and internal compliance standards

    + Identify gaps or risks and escalate as needed, working closely with IT, procurement, and business teams

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + 1–2+ years of experience in IT security, IT compliance, risk management, or related roles

    + Ability to review and interpret software and vendor documentation

    + Strong writing skills; able to create clear, organized, formal documentation

    + Understanding of basic security and compliance concepts (e.g., access control, data handling, security frameworks)

    + Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
