    Our client, an industry leader in envelope manufacturing, is seeking a Converter Operator - Envelope Manufacturing to join their team. As a Converter Operator - Envelope Manufacturing, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. This is a permanent placement opportunity.

     

    **Job Title:** Converter Operator - Envelope Manufacturing

    **Location:** West Sacramento

    **Pay Range:** $57000.00 - $57000.00

     

    Shift: 1st shift 6am-230pm and 2nd shift 230pm-11pm

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Operate and monitor envelope converting machinery to produce high-quality envelopes according to customer specifications and production schedules.

    + Adjust machine settings for different envelope sizes, styles, window placements, and materials to ensure optimal performance.

    + Perform in-process inspections to verify dimensions, glue patterns, seals, and print registration when applicable.

    + Document production runs, downtime, scrap, and changeovers accurately in logs or digital systems.

    + Conduct basic preventive maintenance and cleaning, escalating major repairs to maintenance teams as needed.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + 1–3 years of experience in envelope converting or related manufacturing preferred.

    + Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read gauges, rulers, calipers, and job tickets/spec sheets.

    + Comfort with basic computer and data entry for production reporting.

    + Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
