As a **Security Officer - Shopping Center Parking Patrol** in **Foothill Ranch, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service at a bustling retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to various situations as needed. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises in a vehicle while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and care.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location, including business interiors and perimeters, to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as necessary.

+ Work collaboratively with tenants, staff, and/or law enforcement when required to address security-related concerns within the retail environment.

+ Document all incidents, observations, and activities in daily reports and/or electronic systems as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ This post primarily involves driving and is preferred for candidates interested in such roles.

+ The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
