    The Learning Trainer is passionate about providing an engaging onboarding and training experience for Amazon’s associates. The Trainer coordinates the compliance and completion of learning activities onsite. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that all associates receive standard learning programs during their Day 1 onboarding and Week 1 training. This is achieved by creating onboarding and training execution plans, communicating those plans to operations leadership, coordinating the activities of Ambassadors, auditing learning delivery, and tracking compliance. The role requires an understanding of standard learning programs, operational needs, and the ability to drive resolution on compliance gaps. The Trainer will work in close partnership with operations leadership, Ambassadors, and the Learning Process Engineering Execution team. The role requires people who are collaborative and innovative in solving problems on behalf of new associates.

     

    Key job responsibilities

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Monitor Ambassador coverage to goal and train new Ambassadors as needed to close gaps

     

    Create associate training plans, communicate those plans to operations leadership, and coordinate Ambassador activities to deliver standard learning programs

     

    Monitor daily and weekly compliance of learning activities and partner with operators and Ambassadors to close gaps

     

    Audit learning programs and the delivery of training steps, provide coaching and feedback to Ambassadors

     

    Engage with associates as they learn their new roles

     

    Drive adoption of learning programs and implement changes onsite

     

    Attend weekly Learning Business Review calls to represent the site, bridge compliance gaps, and provide feedback to central teams

     

    Hold weekly Ambassador stand-ups to discuss compliance trends, training updates, and feedback

    Basic Qualifications

    - 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

     

    - High school or equivalent

     

    - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

     

    - Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach

     

    - Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

     

    - Excellent written and verbal communication skills

     

    - Excellent organization skills

     

    - Fully trained SSD associate with no active warnings and positive UPT

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Current Ambassador

     

    - Comfortable talking in front of a group as well as one-on-one with an individual

     

    - Able to give and receive feedback effectively

     

    - Able to meet time commitments and deadlines, goal oriented

     

    - Checks and tests for understanding

     

    - Able to provide feedback to operations and central leaders

     

    - Able to read and understand data, dashboards, and excel reports

    The base salary range for this position is listed below. For salaried roles, your Amazon package will include listed sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.     Colorado $34,320 - $52,000 annually
