As a **Security Officer - Retail Concierge** in **Port Wentworth, GA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a dynamic retail location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, greeting guests, verifying credentials, and responding to inquiries with professionalism and care. By remaining visible at the front desk, you help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and employees at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

+ Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or behaviors.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and any unusual activity according to Allied Universal procedures.

+ Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols.

+ Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
