Title: Material Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Material Coordinator oversees accurately packing and preparing shipments for all company products. Works effectively and efficiently in a warehouse environment to receive and schedule shipping and freight operations, including developing a working knowledge of warehouse organization and creating proper and detailed shipping documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare products, spare parts, return parts, and other items for shipment following established procedures for packaging, crating, boxing, bundling, wrapping, strapping, and labeling.
• Conduct thorough inspections of received materials to verify quality, quantity, and compliance with specifications. This includes checking for damages, discrepancies, and ensuring that materials meet the required standards.
• Use ERP system Oracle to transact material movements.
• Operate machines to properly pack and minimize damage to units/products in the shipment.
• Move units/products to the loading dock and/or storage area or correctly load on freight carrier vehicles.
• Retrieve units from Finished Goods according to the packing slip.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work area.
• Maintain proper shipping supplies.
• Ensure compliance with export regulations and company policies.
• Must follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Receive, store, and issue materials per production schedule, maintains accurate records and track inventory levels.
• Verify materials received from vendors and enter data in ERP system.
• Monitor stock levels for reordering, review shortage reports and dispatch material
• Prepare reports on inventory levels, deliveries, and other related activities.
• Communicate with management and other department to ensure timely delivery of materials and to resolve issues.
• Perform root cause analysis on failed components to determine the underlying issues and implement corrective actions.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years of experience in shipping, receiving, and kitting in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suites.
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and lift devices.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.
• Must have a valid Driver's license.
Desired Qualifications:
• Ability to use UPS and FedEx systems to properly ship outbound shipments.
• Flexible work schedule to accommodate overtime as needed.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively in both written and verbal forms.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Knowledge of supply chain management and lean principles.
Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand for long periods of time; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 30 pounds.
**Pay Details:** $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
