    Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Lab Technician for our pharmaceutical partner in Union City, TN.

     

    This role will support research activities focused on insect rearing and laboratory-based technical programs. The selected candidate will assist with insect colony maintenance, laboratory experiments, data collection, and plant care while adhering to strict quality and safety standards.

     

    **Pay** : 25-28/hr depending on education and experience level

    **Duration:** 6 months to start, with the possibility for extension and more

    Key Responsibilities

    + Support insect rearing for research purposes, including colony maintenance (feeding, cage upkeep, media preparation) and handling all insect life stages

    + Assist with laboratory experiments, data collection, and accurate data entry

    + Perform plant maintenance in support of research activities

    + Generate and evaluate lab-scale samples for customer technical programs, process development, product research, and manufacturing support

    + Troubleshoot, operate, and maintain laboratory and processing equipment; support machine scale-up activities as needed

    + Maintain accurate logs, notebooks, and electronic records

    + Conduct internet and literature searches to support technical problem-solving

    + Perform stoichiometric calculations using computer programs or manual methods

    + Interface effectively with research, manufacturing, and technical teams; interact with customers as needed

    + Manage multiple tasks while working with multiple technical supervisors to deliver timely, high-quality results

    Compliance & Safety

    + Adhere to ISO Quality Management Standards, EHS requirements, SOPs, and Responsible Care guidelines

    + Wear required PPE at all times (safety goggles, respirators, gloves)

    + Maintain a safe, organized laboratory environment

    Work Environment & Physical Requirements

    + Indoor laboratory setting with controlled temperature

    + Combination of sitting and standing throughout the workday

    + Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

    + No driving, chemical exposure, or work at heights required

    Qualifications

    + 4–6 years of relevant laboratory or research experience

    + Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

    + Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams

    **Pay Details:** $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
