Description

We are looking for a motivated Production Planner to join our team in Hillsborough, New Jersey. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in managing supply chain operations and optimizing production schedules to meet business demands. Production Planner Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods and optimal resource utilization.

• Coordinate supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.

• Monitor and analyze production workflows to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production plans with business objectives.

• Utilize MRP or ERP systems to forecast demand and manage production planning processes.

• Process purchase requests and ensure timely acquisition of materials.

• Oversee inventory levels to maintain balance between supply and demand.

• Address production and supply chain issues by identifying solutions and implementing corrective actions.

• Communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers to ensure consistent material availability.

• Generate and present reports detailing production and supply chain performance metrics.

Requirements

Production Planner Requirements:

• Proven experience in production planning, supply chain logistics, or similar roles.

• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.

• Proficiency in using MRP or ERP systems for production planning and inventory management.

• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to enhance operational efficiency.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

• Familiarity with purchase request processes and vendor management.

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
