• Network Engineer

    Description

    We are seeking a Network Engineer to design, support, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex network issues, improving performance, and ensuring secure, reliable connectivity across on-prem and cloud environments.

     

    You’ll work closely with systems, security, and application teams to support business-critical operations.

    Responsibilities

    + Design, implement, and support LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments

    + Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs

    + Support routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, STP)

    + Manage firewall policies, NAT, and network security controls

    + Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues

    + Support network upgrades, expansions, and hardware refresh projects

    + Work with vendors and service providers to resolve circuit and hardware issues

    + Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures

    + Participate in on-call or after-hours support as needed

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications

    + 3+ years of experience in network engineering or network support

    + Strong hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar

    + Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN technologies

    + Experience troubleshooting Layer 1–7 network issues

    + Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience in enterprise or multi-site environments

    + Exposure to cloud networking (Azure or AWS)

    + Familiarity with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, NetFlow, etc.)

    + Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, or equivalent

    + Experience supporting security tools or Zero Trust architectures
