Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This is a Contract to permanent position that requires a detail-oriented individual to work onsite five days a week during first shift hours. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in financial reporting and advanced proficiency in Excel, along with experience using Sage software.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.

• Utilize Sage software to manage accounting processes and maintain accurate records.

• Conduct regular account reconciliations to support financial integrity.

• Develop and maintain detailed spreadsheets using advanced Excel functions for reporting purposes.

• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.

• Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements within the accounting function.

• Monitor and adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Perform other accounting duties as assigned to meet organizational needs. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience with a focus on detail.

• Proficiency in Sage software is required.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

• Strong understanding of financial reporting principles and practices.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.

• Ability to work onsite in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Monday through Friday.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
