Description We are looking for a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team on a contract basis in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will focus on preparing individual tax returns with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual tax returns in compliance with federal and state regulations.

• Review financial documents and ensure all necessary information is accurately reported.

• Utilize Lacerte Tax Software to process and file tax returns efficiently.

• Advise clients on potential tax-saving strategies and deductions.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate filings.

• Collaborate with team members to address complex tax scenarios.

• Resolve client inquiries related to tax preparation and filing.

• Ensure all deadlines for tax submissions are met without compromising quality.

• Conduct thorough quality checks to verify the accuracy of tax filings. Requirements • Proven experience in tax preparation, particularly for individual tax returns.

• Proficiency in using Lacerte Tax Software or similar platforms.

• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

• Relevant certifications or training in tax preparation preferred.
