    Job Description: Logistics Coordinator

     

    As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain and distribution processes. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and communicating with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to guarantee timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Schedule and coordinate shipments and deliveries with carriers and vendors.

    + Monitor inventory levels and manage stock movements to prevent shortages or overages.

    + Track shipments and resolve any transportation or delivery issues promptly.

    + Prepare and process shipping documentation, invoices, and customs paperwork as needed.

    + Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams regarding order status and logistics requirements.

    + Optimize transportation routes and methods to control costs and increase efficiency.

    + Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

    + Maintain accurate records of logistics activities and update systems with relevant data.

    + Identify process improvements and support logistics projects as required.

    Requirements

    Requirements:

    + Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation coordination preferred.

    + Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

    + Effective written and verbal communication abilities.

    + Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

    + Attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
