Description We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Chesterfield, Missouri. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

• Manage and maintain the general ledger to reflect accurate financial data.

• Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

• Perform detailed account reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Handle bank reconciliations to ensure proper tracking and reporting of financial transactions.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.

• Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to accounting procedures. Requirements • Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entry preparation.

• Expertise in performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.

• Proficiency in conducting bank reconciliations and managing financial transactions.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
