    job Title: Software Test Engineer

    Responsibilities

    + Test manufacturing equipment and tools onsite in Burnsville, working 5 days a week.

    + Design, code, test, integrate, and document product test software for aviation products.

    + Design test hardware, including fixtures and circuit boards.

    + Develop engineering estimates for complex tasks.

    + Perform engineering requirements capture, analysis, and creation for complex designs.

    + Lead test software design reviews and generate appropriate design documentation.

    + Prepare and present project and technical information to peers, internal management, and customers.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant experience in absence of a degree.

    + Ability to obtain a US DoD Security Clearance.

    + Experience in digital electronics, both hardware and software.

    + Proficiency in VB6/VB .NET, C/C++, and/or LabVIEW.

    + Hands-on experience with test fixtures.

    + Experience with manufacturing test systems.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Robotics background and RF skills.

    + Proficiency in LabVIEW, test equipment, software testing, validation, and test procedures.

    + Experience in EMI/EMC testing, electrical engineering, and test development.

    + Knowledge of Visual Studio, Visual Basic, C#, and NI Testway for multi-rack test stations.

    This is a Contract position based out of Burnsville, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
